A wife and mother of two in a wonderful Catholic family in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Ohio State University, and have sold my work for many years at festivals, trade shows, shops, and art galleries. I take a lot of my inspiration from the Sea and the human person. Each piece I create is individual and unique, even while working well as a set. Aside from pottery and Christian pieces I also do abstract art, which my logo is derived from (what my husband calls “tentacles”, and what I call individual people – unique and complicated, both beautiful and twisted, but in their own way and from different perspective). I am very excited to open my shop to the public through this new website, and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do! I love to create. Please enjoy my creations!
Truth is beauty, and vice versa. I try to portray truth through beauty in all my work. Art needs to represent those most fantastic of real things. From the smallest, most mundane, moments that are magnificent in their simplicity to those things which blow the mind due to their shear wonder. Beauty and truth are real, and art portrays the real through beauty. This is what I attempt to show you.
“The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection.”
